*Primary Location:*9700 Wade Boulevard, Frisco, Texas, 75035We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.*Job Summary:*Support the development and growth of Continuing Education (CE) programs for adult learners. The assistant director works collaboratively with the CE team to build, manage, and evaluate a wide range of non-credit courses and programs that meet the evolving needs of the community and the workforce.*Required Qualifications:Essential Duties and Responsibilities* * Lead the development of new non-credit courses, programs, and certificates that meet industry needs. Research and identify new and emerging industry-related training and create curriculum to support workforce demands. * Analyze course enrollment data, patterns, and trends to conduct a needs assessment and establish programming that is relevant and in demand. * Prepare course catalog forms and write compelling course descriptions for submission to the curriculum office. Ensure all technical information, including Workforce Education Course Manual (WECM) and Classification of Instructional Programs (CIPs) codes, is accurate and included when appropriate. * Recruit, hire, and schedule high-quality subject matter expert instructors to teach and facilitate CE learning. * Collaborate with academic divisions to establish clear program pathways and stackable credentials for adult learners. * Manage course management systems, Workday and Modern Campus to facilitate schedules, reports, and exports. * Collaborate on the development and implementation of the enrollment management plan, including the production of up-to-date marketing materials, website content, and recruitment activities. * Maintain accurate program records and ensure the accuracy of budget and enrollment data for fiscal management and state reporting. Utilize data to make informed decisions about the cost model for course offerings. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic divisions, public relations, career services, and other key college departments to promote non-credit programs and provide resources. * Maintain regulatory compliance for all program fields and training. Adhere to all college policies, procedures, and regulations. *Supplemental Functions* * Perform other duties as assigned. * Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and Core Values. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* * Knowledge of internal processes * Knowledge of training modes and methods * Knowledge of college district operations application tools such as Workday and Modern Campus * Knowledge of federal, state, and college rules and regulations regarding education, training, and procurement * Knowledge of budget development, district strategic goals/initiatives, program management, and Business Office fiscal procedures * Business writing skills * Verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Experience with content management systems and social media platforms. * Listening and interpersonal skills * Customer service skills * Ability to identify knowledge gaps, analyze multiple data, synthesize customer needs and identify training expertise, * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment *Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort* Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required. *Requirements* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of related experience.
