Ability to work with a variety of constituents, solve problems quickly and professionally, anticipate needs, and communicate proactively. Knowledge about the college student experience, and how to communicate about that experience with parents and families. Excellent project management and time management skills. The ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines on an ongoing basis. *Duties include, but are not limited to:*· Educational Programming, Community Building, and Training: Manages and creates programs to address risk management, membership development, and national issues. Educates all chapters on the dangers of hazing and assists in creating a New Member Education Program free of hazing. Develops training and development for student leaders in the fraternity and sorority community including the teaching of a credit-bearing leadership course. Coordinates social and recognition events that unify the Greek Councils. Works cooperatively with campus offices and external partners to sponsor and promote student participation. Provides leadership and education on belonging, values, and purpose within the fraternity and sorority communities.· Community Growth & Recruitment: Develops and facilitates fraternity and sorority recruitment/intake policies, procedures, and events. Oversees the design and content of Fraternity & Sorority Life marketing materials. Collaborates with Inter/National Offices looking to join the community. Develops a strategic plan for continual growth, expansion, and extension of the FSL community. Advises on developmental plans for chapters and establishes new member education free from hazing.· Risk & Policy Management: Evaluates and implements risk management protocols for organizations, including social event registration and financial risk assessment. Oversees registered events with alcohol and develops policies and minimum standards for Greek organizations. Adjudicates minor offenses and provides organizational outcomes in accordance with policies.· Council & Organizational Development: Develops active functioning councils (IFC, Panhellenic, NPHC). Establishes an equitable advisement model for councils. Collects and maintains data related to organizational standards, including incidents, membership lists, assessments, national reports, and grade reports. Creates strategic plans for the community, establishes benchmarks, and compares peer and aspirant institutions.· Supervision & Budget Management: Manages the departmental budget and coordinates student organization budgets totaling more than $150,000. Supervises and provides professional development of professional staff member and student workers.
