The estimated cost of District provided benefits (health, dental, vision, and life) is $24,408 annually. *Scope of Assignment:DEFINITION*Under direction of the Dean of Instruction, School of Health Professions, oversees the administrative activities and operations related to Clinical Placement; responsible for working with each of the individual programs to promote, solicit, secure and navigate affiliation agreements, to maintain and expand clinical rotation opportunities, preparation and update of clinical contracts, and makes recommendations to the Dean about partnerships, standards, and procedures applicable to clinical placement and performs other duties, as assigned. *SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED*Receives general administrative direction from the Dean of Instruction, School of Health Professions. *Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Which may include clinical preparation software, IT processes, and vendors that support these processes * Assist in state and accreditation reporting as it relates to clinical placements * Assist in writing local, state, federal grants and with local, accreditation, state, federal reporting * Works collaboratively with programs in coordinating cross discipline opportunities * Participate in professional development activities, both departmental and college-wide, especially in connection to statewide initiatives affecting clinical placement. * Assist in preparing the annual unit level program review for the school * Assist in the preparation for and participate in accreditation visits and Advisory Broad meetings. * Work with college PIO in developing and implementing marketing material for programs to promote programs at clinical sites. * Meet regularly with the Dean, Associate Dean and lead program faculty, to assess the immediate and long-term needs of the clinical placement needs * Maintain a spreadsheet of current/active, potential, and terminated clinical affiliate sites and update on a regular basis * Cultivate relationships with hospitals, congregant care environments, ambulatory care settings, industry, and service partners to discuss and procure clinical sites for medical/surgical/geriatric, obstetric, pediatric, psych/mental health, long term care and public health sites that meet the clinical objectives of each of the programs within Health Professions * On occasion or when asked, provide support to deliver and pick-up Clinical Affiliate Surveys * Ensure that the facility contracts are current and initiate renewal process as needed * Attend clinical affiliation meetings, community professional meetings, recruitment job fairs, and Placement Consortiums * Schedule regular visits to clinical affiliates to secure and strengthen relationships as appropriate * * Work with community employers and industry partners, and advisory committees to promote a positive image and community support of the college in the School of Health Professions; serve as liaison between the college and the community; identify community education needs and communicate those needs to the Dean or other appropriate party. * Perform other duties as assigned by the College administration or required by the program accrediting bodies. *Licenses and Certificates:Licenses and Certificates:* * Possession of valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License *Physical and Mental Standards:Physical and Mental Standards:* * *Mobility*: ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time; move about an office; move about the training facility and training obstacles; reach above and below desk level. * *Dexterity*: fine manipulation sufficient to operate a keyboard, handle individual papers, write and take notes. * *Lifting:* occasional lifting of papers, files, equipment and material weighing up to 25 pounds. * *Visual Requirements*: close vision sufficient to read files, documents, and computer screens and do close-up work; ability to adjust focus frequently. * *Hearing/Talking:* ability to hear normal speech, speak and hear on the telephone, and speak in person. * *Emotional/Psychological Factors*: ability to make decisions and concentrate; frequent contact with others including public contact; frequent deadline and time-limited assignments * *Health Clearance*: as required industry partners Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. *TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS* * Work is generally performed in a standard office environment on a campus with a culturally and ethnically diverse student population * Work will require evening and weekend hours *Additional Applicant Information:Applications are accepted online only at:* https://www.yosemite.edu/recruitment/employmentopportunities/ Select Job Openings, Select Search Jobs, Select Job Title, Create an account and Apply to this job.
