Smyth Automotive is a privately-held automotive aftermarket company, owned and operated by the Smyth family since it was founded by George Smyth nearly 50 years ago. Smyth Automotive has grown and now owns and operates 18 auto part retail locations, 8 paint centers and 5 warehouse distribution centers serving Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Northern, Central KY and Nashville, TN. Smyth Automotive is looking for Dispatcher(s) to organize the deliveries in an efficient way. Coordinates, analyzes and assigns delivery routes insuring accuracy and timely delivery of customer orders. Ensures that all vehicles are carrying all necessary documentation according to motor vehicle regulations, including: insurance card, vehicle registration card, and written procedures in case of an emergency. Collects various statistics to be used for improving the delivery system. Encourages positive relationships among the drivers. Must enjoy working with people in a fast- paced setting with the ability to work calmly under pressure. Must have excellent communication and organization skills. Pull Parts accurately and in a timely manner.
