Do you thrive in solving tough electrical and mechanical challenges? We're looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Charlotte team. In this role, you'll keep our production and facility equipment running at peak performance by applying your electrical expertise, mechanical know-how, and problem-solving skills.
Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on production, facility, and testing equipment
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair equipment using schematics, manuals, and testing devices
Work with electrical systems including 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, and 4–20mA
Diagnose and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and bearings
Read and interpret electrical schematics, relay logic, blueprints, and PI&D diagrams
Support automation and PLC troubleshooting and improvements
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance programs
Follow all safety protocols including LOTO, PPE, confined space, and NFPA arc flash procedures
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to safely and independently use required tools and equipment
Knowledge of electrical schematics, automation, and PLCs
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Willingness to work overtime and respond to off-hours requests when needed
Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, crawling, and reaching
Work around machinery, electrical systems, and moderate noise levels
Possible exposure to heat, inclement weather, and confined spaces
Safety gear provided (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, etc.)
