Job Details*Job Location: *Main Campus - Edmond, OK *Position Type: *Staff *Salary Range: *$15.00 - $15.00 Hourly *Job Category: *OTRS Ineligible *Position Classification:* Temporary, part-time, hourly, and non-exempt staff position. *General Schedule:* This position typically works up to 25 hours per week. This position is temporary through June 30, 2026, only. *Position Overview:* Supports the day-to-day operations of the Employee Relations (ER), Engagement, and other functions within the Human Resources department. This temporary position involves assisting with the execution of various HR projects, processes, and reports. *Job Duties:* * Provide administrative support to the ER and Engagement functions including monitoring email inboxes, preparing documents, conducting research, scheduling meetings and events, making departmental purchases, maintaining records, etc. * Assist with the planning and implementation of employee engagement programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and fostering a positive workplace environment. * Support the ER team in handling routine employee inquiries and providing guidance on company policies, procedures, etc. * Accurately enter and update employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of employee records and supporting various HR processes and reporting needs. * Process routine employee transactions, forms, and documents. * Support HR projects by gathering data, coordinating logistics, and communicating with relevant stakeholders. * Write, create, and edit employee communications. Assist in designing visuals, publications, guides, web content, etc. Other related duties as assigned. *Qualifications/Experience Required:* Current enrollment in a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. *Qualifications/Experience Preferred:* Preference will be given to UCO students. Experience with Excel, Banner, Paycom, InDesign, Canva, and/or Illustrator is a plus. *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* * Communication: Ability to clearly express ideas, instructions, and concepts in both written and verbal forms.
