Base pay range $100.00/hr - $140.00/hr Quest is seeking qualified candidates for a PART-TIME Fractional CFO This role will start off 2 days a week and then down the road will possibly grow into more REALLY NEED MULTI-LOCATION OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to partner with our leadership team and provide strategic financial guidance during a critical stage of growth. This role will play a key part in transitioning the company to accrual-based accounting, building forward-looking financial models, and guiding expansion decisions . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, multi-location operations, and healthcare or consumer-facing industries. Responsibilities Lead the transition from cash-based to accrual-based accounting , ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee the development of accounting policies and processes to support scalability. Build and implement a 3-year growth model , including revenue, expenses, and profitability scenarios. Prepare a 3-year financial forecast with recommendations for investments, hiring, and capital allocation. Design management and board-level financial reports that provide actionable insights. Partner with leadership to develop growth strategies and hiring plans aligned with financial forecasts. Support lease accounting and new location planning , including demographic and financial analysis to determine optimal expansion opportunities. Provide insights on cost management, pricing strategies, and margin optimization. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, providing financial perspectives on business decisions. Present clear, data-driven recommendations to help guide the company’s long-term strategy. Mentor and support internal accounting/finance staff as the company grows. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or senior finance roles. Proven success in accrual accounting implementation, financial modeling, and strategic planning . Experience in multi-location, retail, healthcare, or service-based businesses preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, lease accounting, and financial reporting standards. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
