Summary In the role of Gate Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gates and related systems. Duties Install gates & related products according to manufacturer specifications. Basic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of gates & related products. Perform preventive maintenance services. Maintain paperwork and records as necessary. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfactory service. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Proven experience working with garage doors and customers Valid driver's license Acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy Reliable transportation to and from your base office location Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction and hand tools Mechanical inclination Skills Willingness to learn Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Customer service orientated mindset Adaptability to changing work environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Schedule 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday Overtime, weekend, and/or on-call as needed Some service jobs may require occasional out-of-town travel Work Conditions Non-climate-controlled environment - potentially working in all weather conditions. Frequently sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.
