Adecco is recruiting for an HR Coordinator for a client in Utica, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $19–$22/hour, based on experience.

Support Onboarding & Orientation
Deliver engaging new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Coordinate first-day logistics in partnership with hiring managers
Collaborate with payroll, HRIS, training, and facilities teams to ensure accurate setup and readiness
Employee Communication
Serve as a key HR point of contact for employee questions and general guidance
Maintain communication boards, digital monitors, and internal messaging platforms
Ensure information is timely, accurate, and consistent across all shifts
Employee Engagement & Events
Plan and support site-wide engagement initiatives, including town halls, benefits fairs, recognition events, and celebrations
Coordinate vendors, logistics, and communications to create meaningful employee experiences
Training & Compliance Support
Schedule training sessions, send reminders, track attendance, and maintain documentation
Assist leaders with compliance-related training and recordkeeping
Recognition & Culture
Coordinate employee recognition programs, service anniversaries, and new hire welcomes
Help foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture across all shifts
HR Program Support
Assist with enterprise-wide initiatives such as engagement surveys and HR programs
Prepare materials and ensure accurate execution with strong attention to detail
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Associate degree considered with relevant experience
HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus
Experience
2+ years of HR or administrative experience preferred
Manufacturing or plant environment experience is a plus
Exposure to HRIS/payroll systems (such as Workday or Kronos) helpful
Skills & Attributes
