Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)
Location: Norwich, CT
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour

Job Summary
Repair and maintain production machinery and building-related electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role supports continuous production through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain production machines, conveyor systems, and related equipment using diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer recommendations

  • Troubleshoot building mechanical systems and production machinery, including compressors, injection molding machines, thermolators, dryers, and related accessory equipment

  • Perform preventive maintenance on molding and production equipment

  • Complete routine maintenance tasks in molding areas, including conveyors, grinders, and mechanical repairs or replacements

  • Maintain accurate work practices while following safety and environmental guidelines

  • Practice good housekeeping and take appropriate measures to prevent pollution or environmental impact

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and PLC troubleshooting

  • Proficient with hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift experience

  • Experience maintaining injection molding machines

  • Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment



Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
