Middle Market Manager, Commercial Lines

Classification: Salary-Exempt Location : Wellesley and Franklin, MA Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week Deland, Gibson is looking for a Commercial Lines Middle Market Manager to join our Wellesley, MA office. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Lines, the successful candidate will be operationally minded, maintain high standards of client experience, have a thorough understanding of our agency's internal systems and workflows, and provide peace of mind through proactive service. What you'll do: Manage day-do-day operations of the middle market team Handle a small portfolio of middle market Commercial Lines clients Develop and maintain departmental workflows and procedures Identify, design, and participate in implementation strategies for continued growth of the department including opportunities to cross-sell and round-out coverage Drive agency goals and performance objectives Continuously work to improve the client service experience and deliver excellent customer service Review and prepare monthly reports to determine progress in achieving department objectives Work to maintain strong relationships with carriers Bolster productivity and positive work environment of department Provide regular training for optimum use of agency management system and carrier websites Participate in annual evaluations for staff Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff members Other duties as assigned What you'll need : Minimum 5-years' experience in Commercial Lines MA P & C License Proficiency with Applied Epic strongly preferred Self-motivation and accountability to get the job done Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to have fun and work with a team Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite What We Offer: Collaborative work environment Work-Life Balance Comprehensive time-off package including paid vacation, holidays, sick and PTO Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, 401K and more Opportunity for continuing education, subsidized by DG Deland Gibson Core Values: We Work with Urgency We show Compassion We are Life-Long Learners We Have Grit We Innovate About Deland, Gibson: Established in 1900, Deland, Gibson is a Massachusetts insurance agency that has thrived working as a trusted advisor for its client base.
