We will foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic, and population research. *Position Summary:*The Department of Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine is seeking candidates for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position to enhance its clinical and translational research portfolio. The role aligns with the department’s core missions of clinical care, education, and research within a leading academic medical center. Candidates with expertise in informatics and data science are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for research and clinical practice improvement. Familiarity with leveraging EHR systems to study and manage endocrine disorders will be highly valued, as it supports the division’s focus on innovation in diabetes, metabolism, and other endocrine-related conditions.
