Job Title: Project ArchitectJob Description In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, including designing and managing drafters and designers. Proficiency in Revit is essential as it is the primary software used. Projects will include multifamily and corporate buildings, requiring client interactions to provide project updates. You will take drawings from concept to design, handle construction documents, and give direction to drafters while providing progress updates to general contractors and clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for stamping projects that pass through the office. Responsibilities Oversee the full project lifecycle from start to finish. Design and manage drafters/designers on various projects. Utilize Revit software for all design and construction documentation. Engage in client interactions to provide project updates. Develop drawings from concept to design. Handle construction documents and provide direction to drafters. Offer progress updates to general contractors and clients. Stamp projects that go through the office. Essential Skills Bachelor Degree in Architecture. Proficiency in Revit. 6 years of experience in commercial and retail design. Licensed architect in Michigan or on a path to become licensed within a year. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of Construction Documents. Experience in architectural project management. Commitment to pursuing licensure if not already licensed. Work Environment The work environment is predominantly office-based, with the flexibility of one remote day per week. The firm offers a flexible schedule with four 10-hour workdays (Monday through Thursday) and Fridays off.
