Automotive Technician - Customer Service

This position is an in-office full-time role, Monday-Friday, that is located at the Mitchell 1 headquarters in the San Diego office. Please do not apply if you do not have automotive experience and can not work onsite at our San Diego location, M-F. Customer Support Representative – Automotive Industry Location: 16067 Babcock Street, San Diego, CA 92127 Pay Rate: up to $28/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (No weekends!) What We’re Looking For: Automotive knowledge is required Experience in telephone-based customer service is preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus Familiarity with heavy-duty trucks is a bonus Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor Ability to multitask , prioritize, and remain calm under pressure Minimum 1 year of experience with PC-based applications ASE certifications are a plus Key Responsibilities: Deliver friendly, professional service to all customers Quickly assess customer needs and either resolve the issue or route appropriately Document all customer interactions via phone or email Assist with product-related questions Maintain accurate records using our tracking software Follow established procedures and support guidelines Expect to spend 50% or more of your day on the phone with customers If this is the right fit for you, send your resume today —we’re excited to meet you!
