Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in greater Charlotte, NC area for an Installation Technician. The Installation Technician will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and cabling. Day-to-day tasks include light construction work in outdoor environment, pulling and terminating cables, installation of hardware inside cabinets (computers, routers, Cat5 cable, etc) troubleshooting issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing high-quality customer service. Qualifications 3 years of construction and/or technician experience (electrical experience is a plus) Valid Class C Driver's License (forklift certification is a plus) Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, low voltage and Ethernet terminations Proficiency with construction, safety rules, and maintenance Experience in troubleshooting and cabling Strong communication and customer service skills Proven ability to ensure customer satisfaction High school diploma or GED required; additional technical certifications are a plus Ability to work independently and efficiently in an on-site environment Experience in the automotive or fleet management industry is beneficial Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers, on-site customers, contractors, and other technicians Read blueprints for civil works needed for site preparation Manage in-market subcontractors and oversee all trade work processes Assist in the installation and maintenance of technology hardware Conduct inventory management of technology hardware and company tools Execute civil works for site preparation using appropriate equipment Coordinate installation activities, perform maintenance, minor construction and troubleshoot Follow safety protocols and company policies Additional Information: This position requires approximately 75% travel and some weekends. The role involves exposure to outside working environments, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate to high noise levels.
