This role requires a strategic leader who can manage a diverse array of projects ranging from commercial and retail to industrial and multi-family developments. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in technical leadership, client relations, and team management. Key Responsibilities: Direct cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive civil engineering designs for various land development projects. Create detailed site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater systems, and roadway designs utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. Coordinate the acquisition of project permits, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring transparent communication and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Qualifications: At least 8 years of experience in civil/site design, with 10 years preferred. Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Possession of a P.E. license is required. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred but not mandatory if licensed. Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead internal teams effectively; candidates with a technical focus may also be considered for senior Project Engineer roles. Previous experience in commercial, industrial, multi-family, and master planning projects, including drainage and private roadway infrastructure, is ideal.
