About the role This posting is for part-time Roving Assistants who work on days when school is in session for students, Monday to Friday. This position requires the ability to report to all locations within the Portland Public Schools District (City of Portland), so flexibility is essential. Assistant Rovers receive continued assignments throughout the school year, working up to 5 hours per day. Assignments are made via phone call between 6:00AM - 6:30AM. Shifts vary and are typically from 2 to 5 hours daily, scheduled between 7:30AM and 2:30PM. Additional optional summer work options are available (not guaranteed).
