Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is $65.93 per hour, paid biweekly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacist Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with overtime as needed Pharmacist Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law and prescribed medications are appropriate Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients and ensure proper management of pharmacy files Advise patients on proper medication use, possible side effects, and drug interactions Provide consultation for both prescription and over-the-counter medications Educate patients on managing medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions in accordance with safety procedures Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks Maintain proper inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify drug-related problems and collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare providers Offer patient care services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management Pharmacist Requirements Pharmacist license in good standing High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting Strong communication and organizational skills If you think this Pharmacist position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
