Position Summary We’re seeking a Pharmacy Technician ready to leverage their skills beyond the traditional pharmacy setting. In this role as a Patient Care & Reimbursement Specialist, you’ll use your background in medication access, insurance processing, and patient service to: Perform benefits investigations, eligibility checks, and affordability assessments for specialty medication programs. Help patients navigate prior authorizations, co-pay assistance, and other access pathways. Support commercial reimbursement submissions and document workflows with precision and efficiency. A desire to apply your pharmacy experience in a non-retail, call center setting that offers structure, teamwork, and consistent hours. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with understanding their coverage, co-pays, and affordability support options. Prepare, organize, and submit insurance and reimbursement documentation. Work collaboratively with internal departments, including operations, patient support teams, and program management. Provide high-level customer service to patients, providers, and caregivers. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company procedures. What We’re Looking for Pharmacy Technician (Licensed) experience (1 year) in a retail store setting. Experience in a call center or fast-paced administrative setting (preferred). Comfort using systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and RingCentral. Excellent communication and active listening skills. A knack for solving problems and helping people, patients and teammates alike. Strong time management and attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment. Ability to learn and adapt quickly with a growth mindset. Why Join RIS Rx?
