Security Officer – Luxury Retail (NYC) We’re seeking a professional Security Officer to support the safety of customers, employees, and merchandise in a luxury retail environment. This role focuses on theft prevention, emergency response, and asset protection, while working closely with store leadership and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Monitor store for theft and safety risks using surveillance and reporting tools Conduct investigations and collaborate with leadership to resolve incidents Respond to emergencies, including medical situations, and support safety protocols Assist with audits, loss prevention training, and daily security operations Liaise with law enforcement and neighboring stores when needed Prepare detailed reports on incidents, recoveries, and policy violations Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; security certifications a plus Prior experience in retail security or hospitality preferred Strong knowledge of safety protocols and loss prevention Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
