We are actively seeking an Underground Plumber/ Slab in Apex, NC area to join our award WINNING team. The Underground/ Slab Plumber will be responsible for trenching, running heavy equipment and installing underground pipes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of plumbing codes and standards. Great Reasons to Join Romanoff: 9x Employee Voted Top Work Place Highly Competitive Wage Excellent Benefits Package (Health/Vision/Dental/Life/STD/LTD/Accident and Critical Illness) $15k Company Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Employee Stock Ownership Plan (We are 100% employee owned) Training and Support Vacation and Paid Holidays Advancement Opportunities Paid Apprenticeship Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change Position Responsibilities of the Underground/ Slab Plumber: Install and maintain underground pipes in accordance to plumbing codes Perform trenching and excavation work Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to the underground plumbing systems that include leaks, blockages and pipe failures Adhere to company and jobsite safety rules Interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics to accurately plan and execute plumbing work Work closely with contractors and construction teams to coordinate worksite activities Provide excellent customer service and address clients needs Minimum Experience and Qualifications of the Underground/Slab Plumber 2 years Plumbing Experience Valid Driver License Must be at least 21 years of age Able to adhere to company screenings New Construction experience a plus Physical Requirements: Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
