Job Description Job Title: Water Mitigation Technician - Urgently Hiring Pay: $20/Hr. to $25/Hr. potential for overtime and $40 bonus on on-call days Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; On-call rotation every 6 weeks; Some nights/weekends required Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Water Mitigation Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire position for our client, a family-owned restoration company located in Westbrook, ME . The Water Mitigation Technician will support commercial and residential clients in responding to water and sewage damage by performing remediation services. The Water Mitigation Technician will thrive in this role by working efficiently and thoroughly, staying organized and professional on-site, and reliably handling emergency service calls. This is a growth-oriented position located in Westbrook, ME, with advancement opportunities and strong team culture. As a Water Mitigation Technician , you will be responsible for: Sketching and measuring jobsites accurately Monitoring, documenting, and drying water and sewage damage using professional equipment Placing and removing air movers and dehumidifiers as needed Taking moisture readings and material samples Completing clear and detailed documentation through paper forms and company software (Dash) Removing debris and cleaning up job sites after demolition work Obtaining required customer signatures for service documentation Participating in an on-call rotation and responding to emergency situations as needed Driving to job sites using a company vehicle Accurately punching in and out using QuickBooks Time The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in water mitigation or related work Knowledge of air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters, and remediation procedures Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A clean and valid driver's license IICRC certification (preferred) Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, walk, and lift frequently Willingness to travel for occasional overnights (with advance notice) Flexibility to work some nights and weekends as part of an emergency on-call rotation Benefits: Enjoy affordable health and prescription coverage with no waiting period Health, dental, and vision insurance through the employer after 60 days Aflac insurance options available IRA retirement plan after 1 year Paid time off: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years Weekly direct deposit Ask us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cash!
