Our Commodities division is expanding, and we are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Power Pricing & Structurer to join our dynamic team. As a Power Pricing & Structurer, you will play a pivotal role in originating, structuring, and pricing complex power transactions across wholesale and retail markets. You will work closely with trading, sales, risk, and quantitative teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients, including utilities, corporates, and renewable developers. Responsibilities : Develop and implement pricing models for structured power products (e.g., PPAs, tolling agreements, load-following contracts). Analyze market fundamentals, volatility, and regulatory impacts to support transaction structuring. Collaborate with traders and originators to identify and execute profitable opportunities. Support the valuation of long-term contracts and structured deals using stochastic modeling and scenario analysis. Present pricing strategies and risk metrics to internal stakeholders and clients. Monitor and enhance pricing tools and methodologies in line with market developments. Qualifications : 7 years of experience in power markets, preferably in a structuring, trading, or quantitative role. Strong understanding of power market dynamics (nodal pricing, capacity markets, ancillary services). Proficiency in Python, VBA, or similar for model development and data analysis. Familiarity with valuation techniques for optionality and risk management. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Finance, or similar).
